It is a holder that can place a pinhole in the cage system and fine adjust the position of the pinhole in the plane.

◦ The cage system has two types, P30 (Dia. 6mm rods, 30mm pitch between the rods) and P16 (Dia. 4mm rods, 16mm pitch between the rods).
◦ The holder plate can slide through the rod (cage) in the direction of the optical axis. Even without using the stage, it can easily adjust focus on the lens and camera.

Attention

▶ If the rod is tightened too tightly or if the tightening force is greatly different depending on the location, the rod may not fit in other holders.
▶ Initially fix the rod lightly, after building the optical system, please tighten so that the force that fixes the rod is even in each holder.
▶ When configuring a large optical system or a long optical system, it may become distorted or become unstable due to vibration.

How to fix side-in type holder plate

①Rotate the holder plate using the rod as a fulcrum. (An arrow on the holder plate indicates the fulcrum)
②Make sure that the two rods fit into the end of the slot on the holder plate.
By tightening the set screws, the holder plate is fixed to the rod (cage).
③By attaching the fourth rod, it will be able to slide the holder plate along the rod without coming off.
