Controllers for driving SSH electromagnetic shutters.
SSH-C4B can control up to four shutters simultaneously.
◦SSH-C4B designed to operate both SSH-R and SSH-S type electromagnetic shutters.
◦SSH-C4B comes with demo software for controlling shutters with a PC.
◦SSH-C4B allows setting of the shutter opening and closing time in units of 0.1 seconds using a PC. Once the setting is done, shutters can be opened and closed using the control buttons on the panel.
◦By switching to the TIMER mode, SSH-C4R can put shutters in open state.
◦SSH-C1R includes an interface to open and close shutters with TTL signals issued from an external controller.
◦The length of shutter cable is 2m, but can be extended to maximum 4m using an extension cable.
▶USB cable (USB-2) to connect the SSH-C4B and a PC is also available.
▶RS232C cable (RS232C/STR-3) to connect the SSH-C4B and a PC is also available.
▶Contact our International Sales Division regarding the TTL cable used to connect the SSH-C1R with an external controller.
▶The SSH-C1R and SSH-C4B can be used as controllers for shutters (BSH) for microscopes that can be installed on a microscope.
▶Shutter controller is only for SSH and BSH. It cannot be used on other electromagnetic shutters.
▶The shutter cable is not included with the shutter holder or shutter controller. Please purchase cable (SSH-CA2-LOAA).
▶SSH-S shutters cannot be operated with the SSH-C1R. Use an SSH-R shutter.
▶If the shutter type and controller drive signal are different, the shutter will not operate. (The shutter will not break even if the setting is incorrect.)
▶If the back panel interlock connector is removed, or there is an open external circuit connecting to the interlock connector, all shutters are force closed, the interlock lamp is lit and the device will not operate.
▶A PC is required to change the timer time of the SSH-C4B.
▶Contact our International Sales Division if you are using an old model shutter (FSH). The old model cable will be required to connect with the controller.
